Install Portable Bash onto your USB drive and run it as an persistent installation (it'll automatically backup/restore its configurations to/from local file system).
Has many scripts that make processing the files much easier or include additional options like timestamps, clean exit from bash process, etc.
Some of the installation problems are temporarily fixed. See related issue 49 for more info...
You'll need to first install Portable Bash's dependencies manually. All the required components are listed in the zip 6add127376 revebail
